Our History
How It Started
In 2018, founder Michael McGilvray saw a gap in his community — dozens of charities doing great work in isolation, while donors struggled to know where their gifts would make the most impact.
What began as a small network of three partner organizations has grown into a regional movement spanning 30+ charities, thousands of volunteers, and a community of givers united by shared purpose.
Today, Michael Invictus Foundation operates as a hub — vetting and amplifying the work of partner charities, mobilizing volunteers, and connecting community members to the resources they need.
